Storm International, which manages gambling and entertainment facilities around the world and in the CIS region, announced its operating results for 2017. Compared to the previous year, revenues increased by 12%, while net income increased by almost 15%, says Storm International.

"In the reporting year, the greatest growth was shown by Shangri La in Tbilisi – we have 21%, and Shangri La in Yerevan with an outstanding 48%", Darren Keane, Storm International CEO said. Because of the strong management of Storm International, the main reason for the active development of these markets is an increase in the flow of foreign customers, who continue to discover Georgia and Armenia as attractive destinations for game tourism. Last year, the number of international flights doubled both in the direction of Tbilisi and Yerevan."

In addition, in November 2017, Storm International opened the fourth Shangri La, Darren Keane said that this is a SL Casino in Riga. The new casino in Riga started working in the VIP niche. This is due to the fact that VIP institutions in Latvia are not so numerous. In general, the country's market is full and there are many strong operators in it.
